What’s Happening
Join us for the 6th Annual Pettaquamscutt Paddle, a guided paddle event for the benefit of the Narrow River Preservation Association. This year's Paddle takes place during the waxing of July's Full Buck Moon, also called the Full Thunder Moon and Full Hay Moon. After a brief orientation and presentation by NRPA Board members, participants set out on this approximately 2.5 hour twilight tour. Witness the splendor and peacefulness of the tidal inlet and salt marsh as the full moon rises over the Atlantic while the sun sets on the western horizon. See the marshland come alive during prime feeding hours. Your glow sticks will keep you illuminated in the semi-darkness during your return trip. Stay afterwards for refreshments, conversation and a raffle.
