"Paddle10"...Get out on the water and explore Rhode Island's Blueways!

To introduce paddlers to the varied and beautiful rivers, ponds, and bays in southern New England, the RI Blueways Alliance (RIBA) has organized a series of events that celebrate Rivers Month in June and Bay Day in July. Most trips are sponsored by non-profits, usually the watershed councils for that river, and fees charged will go towards support of that organization. A few of RIBA’s commercial sponsors are also offering trips.

Things to remember:

  • All events require advanced registration.
  • Bring your own boat unless stated that rentals are available
  • All participants must wear life vests (PFDs) when on the water. PFDs must be worn in the manner intended by the manufacturer.
  • It's a good idea to bring snacks, water, and sunscreen.
  • For more details contact the organizers of the events.
